Timeless Artifact is intended to be Antiquities Plus scientific evaluation web site mirroring our Top Jade Forum ( Timeless Jade ) but with an emphasis on much more than just jade. In this Forum we will discuss different Artifacts of Bronze, Pottery, Stone, Etc., from differing cultures under microscopic analysis and often showing the differences between Real and Fake, and In-Situ and Restored.
We hope to get at least two interesting articles per month up for the viewing public so, please feel free to subscribe as the only intrusion experienced will be an occasional mail indicating a new article is published. There are no ‘sell’ lists or advertisers allowed on this site and never will be. It is a free information site only.

I live in Madrid Spain and I found you by chance.
I have been goin to China for the last 15 years,at least one month each year.
I have been trained in discerning antique pottery and porcelain by a Chinese expert which is my closest friend and now has a program on cctv (Chinese goverment tv)on how to discern fakes
My passion is the Song dinasty,especially black ware.I have build an extensive collection of pottery and porcelain from this period(I have a few hundred pieces) ,maybe 70%broken in order to carefully study them.
I have spend only 15 minutes in reading your studies of the black glace song piece and I am amazed to find out that we share the same passion
